Eco Agri Research Foundation
Eco Agri Research Foundation was founded by Mr. Jainarayan K, inspired by his experience in organic farming. It began with a model farm in Srirangapatna, near Mysore, and has since grown to support sustainable agriculture and rural development. Formally registered in 2001 in Mysore, the foundation is dedicated to rural development, sustainable agriculture, skill development, and social entrepreneurship. Our mission is to create self-sufficient farming communities through organic and sustainable practices, enabling rural populations to enhance their livelihoods while preserving traditional agricultural knowledge.
Our Key Initiatives
We focus on:
- Establishing model farms that serve as learning centers for best agricultural practices.
- Conducting on-field training and workshops to equip farmers with modern organic farming techniques.
- Supporting small farmers by providing technical knowledge, capacity building, and market access.
- Enabling value addition to farm produce to enhance profitability and sustainability.
- Promoting social entrepreneurship by empowering rural communities to create agro-based enterprises.
- Developing skills for rural youth and women, providing them with livelihood opportunities in agroforestry, processing, and sustainable farming.
- Preserving and revitalizing traditional rural practices by integrating them with modern sustainable techniques.
